Press releases are also available on this web site in the press release page. Special Notice: Due to the proliferation on the Internet of unsolicited bulk e-mail, or spam, some ISPs have installed filtering software to block spam from reaching their subscribers. These filters use various heuristic methods to attempt to separate spam from legitimate e-mail, but they are not always accurate. It appears that, in some cases, where the filters have been set to very restrictive settings, our press releases are being identified as spam and are not getting though to subscribers. When we are able to identify such blocks, we attempt to communicate with the ISP, but we are not always able to contact with the ISP or to convince them to remove the block on our notices. When messages fail to go through on two or more consecutive press releases, we delete that e-mail address from our database. If you are an e-mail subscriber and feel that you have not been receiving our press releases, check your most recently received notices against the postings on our Press Releases web page. If you are being blocked from receiving our press releases and have been blocked for more than two press releases you may need to re-subscribe. If you continue to be blocked contact your ISP and ask that the block be removed. If the ISP needs more information, ask him to contact us at postmaster@gulfcouncil.org. If the ISP continues to block our press releases, but you still wish to receive them, we suggest that you set up an e-mail account using one of the free e-mail services such as hotmail or yahoo and subscribe to our press release list through that account.
