The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will meet October 21 – 24, 2019 at The Tremont House, located at 2300 Ships Mechanic Row in Galveston, Texas. The Council plans to take final action on a Framework Action to Modify For-Hire Multi-Day Trip Possession Limits. The Council will induct its newest member, Mr. Troy Williamson; and review and adopt Council Committee assignments for October 2019 through October 2020. Additionally, the Council will discuss the National Marine Sanctuaries, status determination criteria, allocation, the Release Mortality Symposium, modifications to the commercial Individual Fishing Quota Program, recreational greater amberjack, the red grouper stock assessment, and more. The meeting will convene on the following days and local times:
