The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will meet October 26-29, 2020 by webinar. The Council will begin by reviewing and adopting its Council Committee roster for October 2020 through August 2021. The Council will hear presentations on Deepwater Horizon Open Ocean Fish Restoration and the 2019 Report to Congress on Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing. No final action items are scheduled for this meeting.

The public will have two opportunities to interact with the Council. An informal Question and Answer session will be held from 4:30 – 6:00 PM, EDT on Tuesday October 27, 2020. The session will provide the public with an opportunity to ask leaders from the Gulf Council, NOAA Fisheries, and Southeast Regional Science Center questions about the science and management of fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico. Public testimony will be held from 1:00 – 3:30 PM, EDT on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
