Meeting Notice

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will convene a hybrid virtual and in-person meeting of its Data Collection Advisory Panel from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, EDT on September 14, 2021. The meeting will be held at our Gulf Council offices located at 4107 W. Spruce Street, Suite 200, Tampa, FL 33607. The meeting will be broadcast via webinar and anyone who prefers not to travel at this time can addend virtually.
During the meeting, the Advisory Panel will review and discuss the Southeast For-Hire Electronic Reporting (SEFHIER) Program. The Panel will receive presentations on the progress of the program and review Draft Options of a document that considers creating temporary exemptions to the location requirements for For-Hire and Commercial vessels experiencing unforeseen equipment failure. The Panel will also review and discuss proposed modifications to the Commercial Electronic Reporting Program.
Public comment will be held over the webinar before the meeting adjourns.
