The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council meets April 3-6, 2023 at the Courtyard Marriott Gulfport Beachfront hotel in Gulfport, Mississippi. During the meeting, there will be two opportunities for the public to interact with the Council members and NOAA Fisheries leadership staff.

 

Question and Answer Session: Immediately following Reef Fish Committee on Tuesday, April 4, 2023

 

The Gulf Council and NOAA Fisheries will host a question and answer session to provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions about the science and management of fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico. Leadership from the Gulf Council, Southeast Regional Science Center, and NOAA Fisheries Southeast Regional Office will be among panelists that will answer questions from the public.

 

Participants will be able join the session in-person or listen online via webinar. Virtual participants must join the webinar to speak to ask a question. Alternatively, during the session, you can email questions to [email protected] and a staff member will ask on your behalf.

Public Testimony: 1:30 – 5:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, April 5, 2023

 

In-person attendees wishing to give public testimony must sign-up using the kiosk near the entrance to the meeting room on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

 

Virtual participants must register online at least one hour prior to scheduled public comment in order to provide testimony. Registration will be open from 8:00 AM CDT on Monday, April 3, 2023 and closes at 12:30 PM CDT on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Virtual participants must register for the Council meeting webinar under the same name used to register to provide public testimony.
