The Gulf Council and NOAA Fisheries’ Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Management Division will host a hybrid (virtual/in-person) question and answer session to provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions about sharks and shark management in the Gulf of Mexico.

 

The session will begin with a short introduction to highly migratory species (tunas, swordfish, billfish and sharks), with a focus on sharks and shark management in the Gulf of Mexico. Staff from both the Gulf Council and the NOAA Fisheries Highly Migratory Species Management Division will answer questions from the public. The Session will be held following the Council’s Reef Fish Committee on the evening of August 23, 2022. This meeting should begin sometime around 5:00 PM, Central Time.

 

In-person attendees: Join us at the Omni Hotel located at 900 Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas.
