Center for Independent Experts to Review the Gulf of Mexico Atlantis Ecosystem Model

NOAA Fisheries will hold a public meeting to conduct a review of the Gulf of Mexico Atlantis Ecosystem Model. The Center for Independent Experts (CIE) will evaluate the model performance and identify appropriate ecosystem-based fishery management applications in the southeast region that the model could be used to simulate. The review is a NOAA-supported, formal scientific peer-review process for evaluating scientific information to ensure quality and credibility.

The workshop will be held from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, March 28 through March 30, 2023 at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute located at 100 8th Ave SE in St. Petersburg, Florida (3^rd floor conference room).  The meeting will also be available virtually via Google Meet.

Public comment will be available from 3:30-4:30 PM on March 28 and March 29, 2023, either in person or by using the google meeting link.
