The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will meet January 27-30, 2020 at the Hyatt Centric in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The Council plans to discuss numerous issues including: the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, status determination criteria, trolling in Madison-Swanson and Steamboat Lumps, allocation, modifications to the commercial IFQ program, greater amberjack, lane snapper, and red grouper.
