The Standing, Reef Fish, Mackerel, Ecosystem, and Socioeconomic Scientific and Statistical Committees will meet to discuss the MRIP Fishing Effort Survey and its calibration to historical catch and effort data. A comparison of landings, effort, and discards, pre and post-Fishing Effort Survey as well as treatment of shore mode landings, effort and discards will be presented for both stocks. The Committees are expected to review this information, discuss it, and provide any recommendations to the Council. This workshop is open to the public.
