Council Coordination Committee Will Meet Virtually to Discuss Inflation Reduction Act Funding

As this year’s host Council for the Council Coordination Committee (CCC), the Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will Chair a meeting hosted by NOAA Fisheries to discuss Inflation Reduction Act Funding.  The CCC, comprised of the chairs, vice chairs, and executive directors of the New England, Mid-Atlantic, South Atlantic, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific, Western Pacific, and North Pacific Fishery Management Councils will meet virtually on July 17, 2023, from 4:00 – 5:30 PM EST.

 

During the meeting, the CCC will discuss data acquisition and management funding; climate, ecosystems, and fisheries initiative funding; and regional fishery management council funding.  The meeting will be open to the public and public testimony will be taken before the meeting adjourns.
